Cold NFL games

There have been some pretty cold football games. How do you suppose the frigid temperatures affect the success or failure of the teams that are involved? Do teams from colder areas usually beat warmer based teams in cold playoffs?  

Home team advantage?

Ask students whether they think a game played at home gives their team an advantage.  If so, how much of an advantage?  Enjoy the discussion first, then show them our graphic.
