S'mores
August 10 is National S’mores Day! Engage your students with a fun real-world math activity involving s’mores!
In this activity (updated), students explore how many s'mores can be made with a given ingredients, how much of each item they need to buy, and what to do when pack sizes don't line up perfectly. They'll also estimate costs and reflect on whether the answers are reasonable.
Don't forget to begin with the starter activity to engage the students before diving into the calculations!
