🥔 "Why do we never have enough mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving?" In this updatedactivity, students will dive into the math of mashed potatoes planning to ensure there’s plenty to go around! They’ll adjust a recipe for various serving sizes, converting between decimals and fractions and setting up expressions to determine how much of each ingredient is needed.

Don’t forget to kick off this activity with a starter that invites students to tap into their number sense.
