Fantasy Football (2025)
Fantasy Football (2025)
We're at the midway point of the 2025 NFL season! What a great time to connect math to sports!🏈
In this activity, students use real statistics from recent games to calculate fantasy football points and find the scoring formula. Students will also be challenged to set up simultaneous equations to solve unknowns in a non-standard scoring system based on players' performance.
📝 Suitable for Grades 6-8
⏰ Min. 30 minutes
🎬Here is a short VIDEO that goes through the basics of Fantasy Football. This would be a great starter to engage everyone before starting the activity.
