In this activity, students will explore how to design a ghost costume š»š»Ā by reasoning through sheet dimensions, calculating the best fit for different heights, and interpreting the relationship between the sheet size and a personās height. Concepts like radius, diameter, inequalities, and graphing will come into play as students solve this hauntingly fun math challenge.Ā
The activity including the starter will take approximately ā°Ā 45 to 60 minutes to complete, depending on class pacing and discussion.
