A Parametric Heart

In this updated activity, students will explore parametric equations to graph a heart shape using sine and cosine functions. Begin with the starter activity to set the stage (or you have an option for a challenge), followed by plotting points manually and using graphing calculators or online tools like Desmos to experiment with transformations.

📝 Suitable for High schoolers
