Hot summer, cold winter

With another extremely hot summer, we wanted to share our hot-summer-cold-winter activity from last summer.  Enjoy and stay cool!

In the United States the summer of 2011 was one of the hottest summers on record.  The winters of 2010 and 2011 have been the coldest since 1993-94. Brian uses these temperature extremes to make signed number operations and absolute value sensible.
