NFL Franchise Values
Football season has just begun. Brian has created a new investigation that links student’s excitement for the upcoming season with their ability to read and interpret bar graphs. He asks students to compare the value of NFL franchises through the use of graphs and consider how a more equitable franchise value would affect that image.
Students work with data and analysis to “discover” mean value. Check out the activity and video description below:

I am going to use this lesson with my students who scored advanced on their MCAS tests. They finish math excercises early and I want to keep them engaged.
