The Olympic Torch trip in South Korea

On October 24, 2017, the Olympic flame was captured on Mount Olympus, Greece. That flame lit one of this year's Olympic Torches and the Torch relay was begun on its way to the opening Winter Olympic Ceremonies in PyeongChang, South Korea on February 9, 2018. The Torch relay will last for 101 days, cover 2,018 kilometers, be carried by 7,500 runners, and travel by plane, helicopter, Turtle ship, foot, sailboat, robot, steam train, yacht, cable car and zip line. Enjoy a mathematical divergence into world-class sport, South Korea, and the cooperation of Nations as your class appreciates unifying music, participation rates, metric conversions, and per person distances traveled.
