John Urschel, retired Baltimore Raven and Black mathematician


John Urschel is a young man with several seemingly disparate characteristics and talents.  He is an athlete and a mathematician and he is a black man and a mathematician.  He loves what he does and he is good at it all.

In this activity, students can learn about this mathematician and retired pro football player as they read to create a timeline of his life and accomplishments.  They compare his milestone to  the milestones that are usually met in schools.
